MCA stuck in ghetto politics

Posted in mca, politics, self-help, siu sei yan, stoopid by jedyoong on April 8th, 2008

OOooPpppPPPPPppPPPPS. Forgot about this Chinese-ed majority party — the MCA.

Ong Ka Chuan reportedly said that party members cannot co-operate with a non-BN government.

WOW, that’s gonna endear voters to the party. More will just say kolot. Are the Ong brothers bringing the party down?

Then there was that statement from Ka Chuan a few days back fudging the fact that many new village residents still don’t have land titles. Some of them have lived there, well, since they relocated them to combat the communist insurgency after Merdeka.

The ghetto political party doesn’t seem to be coping with the new reality. At least UMNO pandai berpolitik and leaders have made all sorts of grunts about “akar umbi”, “rakyat”, “reformasi”, “demokrasi”, etc. But MCA is acting like sore losers by directing party members not to serve as councilors in the PR state governments. Or maybe I can’t understand them ‘cos the news is reported in the Chinese press?

Anyway, MCA doesn’t really represent many people these days…..Soooo, we can ignore them.

Hey, MCA, guess what?

The New Cabinet

Best expressed by another funky poster by Mob’s Crib:

miketyson

Mike Tyson a.k.a. Muhd Taib, who is also UMNO information chief, shot to global notoriety when he was caught with two suitcases stuffed with RM2.4million of cash in Australia. Then he pleaded that his poor English-language proficiency caused his ignorance of the country’s laws. Hence he was not convicted!!! More recently, when he lodged a police report against Malaysia Today last year, he had to get a reporter’s help to gather evidence from the Internet as our NEW Rural and Regional Development Minister didn’t know how!

Around the blogs:
Rocky’s Bru
Susan Loone
Kadir Jasin (Am waiting for Kadir Jasin’s comment, he just posted the line-up.)

And it was published in the Asian Wall Street Journal. For a guy who can barely string sentences together when speaking to the media, this opinion piece is truly a ground-shattering achievement in good writing. Unfortunately, it is still more wishy washy mythos.

Malaysia will heal her divisions

By DATUK SERI ABDULLAH AHMAD BADAWI

WHILE I am honoured to have been re-elected as Prime Minister of Malaysia and to have received a 63% majority of the 222 seats in Parliament in our just-completed general election, I am also disappointed that we fell a few seats short of the two-thirds majority we were hoping for.

JY: I believe with just barely half of the popular vote.

WOW. Look at this billboard by Carol Chew of MCA, who is running against DAP incumbent Teresa Kok for the Seputeh parliamentary seat in Kuala Lumpur. The “sweet-looking” young thing obviously only has love on her mind.

Another BN cock-up: Printer not specified on manifesto

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. Who is in-charge of this? Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. All party publicity materials must include the publisher’s and printer’s names-lah. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. BN can’t distribute it. It’s illegal. Ha ha ha ha ha. More @ Uncle Kit’s. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.

MCA says 2,300 scholarships for non-bumis since 2000

Posted in democracy, elections, macam2ada, mca, media, mind control, politics, scam, siu sei yan, stoopid by jedyoong on February 28th, 2008

WOW. Huge ad today in The Star. It said:

2,300 non-bumiputera students obtained full JPA scholarships to study overseas between 2000 and 2007. A marked increase compared to only 100 students before the the year 2000.

While the Opposition put on a show, MCA worked.

1. Between 2000 to 2007. Does that include 2000 and 2007 which makes it 8 years and 287.5 per year? If not, it will be 6 years and 383.3 per year. HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA. Is the MCA taking the piss? Are they PROUD of this?

2. Only 100 students before the year 2000. Is that 100 a year? Or since Merdeka? Since the NEP? Apa-lah..

3. Non-bumiputera. So how many Chinese, Indians and etc? Come on.

The tagline: Working Quietly. Effectively. For Results.

Does the MCA mean working quietly and effectively for themselves, their families and cronies for results? So sorry but this counter spin for their general spinelessness to protect their contracts is lame.

I think this is hardly an achievement. Is the MCA sabo-ing themselves? Did some rival faction put this ad out?

To PKR fans, supporters and Anwaristas

Someone wrote to me that DAP is getting the Malay vote cos of Anwar Ibrahim. OH PUHLEEZE….Because of DAP, PKR got the CHINESE vote in Ijok. In Machap, Anwar and PKR could do nothing about the Malay vote.

Just to really get my point across, PKR is a redundant, “aimless” party. At this point, the party does not give me any good reason to vote for it. One main reason that puts me off is the INANE cyber responses I get every time I criticise PKR.

HELLO!! I AM NOT A DAP Person

I just endorsed them for this ELECTION 2008. Please direct all complaints to DAP. I don’t care if DAP wins or is annihilated.

MCA’s Carol Chew = Pirated Po Kuan

Looks like DAP’s chili padi. BN is so bankrupt of ideas man. Can’t they even get someone with an original personality, character or just FACE????? The excessive PR on this “sweet-looking” candidate is nauseating. Even in beautiful Kelantan. And when I read Ng Yen Yen was her “mentor”, I just totally wrote “OH CAROL” off….!!!!!
JED YOONG NOMINATES CAROL CHEW AS WORST COPYCAT CANDIDATE.

Erm, photos deceive sometimes. More soon. Have to write some revenue-generating articles now. LOL

UPDATE 3: They should rename Crystal Mosque to Crystal Surau…. **fainted**…..

UPDATE 2: The size of this Crystal Mosque is indeed “replica size”. It’s about the size of three-and-a-half terrace houses in Bangsar or Taman Desa. At max, maybe four. It’s single-storey too. No doubt it’s beautiful, esp at night, but I was so shocked ‘cos it looked so big in the photos in the newspapers. I was expecting a building the size of the National Mosque or at least the Bangsar Mosque. Notice that the papers did not mention the dimensions. More later.

UPDATE: Najib’s house, if he still lives in Taman Duta, is bigger than Crystal Mosque! So are some of the houses in Damansara Heights. OK, work now.

Reminder, It’s not Islam vs Christianity

Some guy called Jason Seow offered me tips on how to write. Dude, go and start your own blog. And I am not trying to win people over to Christianity nor am I calling myself a Christian as the term is commonly understood.

Azalina, lesbian? So what?

Posted in democracy, elections, macam2ada, politics, stoopid by jedyoong on February 16th, 2008

A new blog has “exposed” Youth and Sports Minister Azalina Othman’s sexual preference.

I know we live in a “Muslim” country. So we must all be hypocrites. One prominent blogger who highlighted this issue, for instance, is a close buddy to a woman editor who is also gay.

Lots of people are gay. Please don’t give me this ‘cos she holds a position of power, she can’t be gay. It’s the same as the attack on Anwar Ibrahim before.

I’ll prefer people to focus on candidates’ aspirations, achievements, characters and sincerity.

Our politicians’ sex lives don’t interest me. It’s a low blow.

Remember the Golden Rule. I enjoy my freedom and my privacy.

Infantile PKR spoils Opp Front

Who said that? I did. When? Now. Ha ha ha. But I am not a DAP spokesperson, just a rakyat.

This is in response to a “news item” in Malaysiakini headlined ‘Arrogant’ DAP forces 3-way fight.

1. As a news article, no DAP spokesperson was quoted with regards to this matter. It was all what PSM/PKR alleged.

2. I quote:

In the last polls, PSM candidates fared better than the DAP candidates in both the seats.

Based on the results, PSM pro-tem national chairperson Dr Nasir Hashim said DAP should withdraw to ensure a straight fight with Barisan Nasional.

“They (DAP) came out third. We beat them and this shows that our party is stronger there.

“Why can’t DAP accept this and let us fight one-on-one with BN,” he said, adding that DAP was just being “arrogant”.

Well, the answer is we must look at the BIGGER picture. Not just this seat. The National Leaders should know best and have some strategy, I hope. In all likelihood DAP has given many of its traditional seats or others where they have performed better. Also, DAP has been around for so long.
