Khir Toyo, a good laugh
Ha ha ha, couldn’t stop laughing when reading Khir Toyo’s latest post. He kept referring to us as “sahabat2 bloggers”. Ha ha ha.
An excerpt:
ROTFL. Can’t take it man. Ha ha ha ha ha.
Where is Mike Tyson’s blog? Ha ha ha ha ha ha.

Lorrain Esme Osman, who was at the center of the Bank Bumiputra scandal, appears to be a factor in the downfall of Bertie Ahern
The abrupt resignation in Dublin Wednesday of Irish Prime Minister Bertie Ahern over allegations of corruption in land planning in the 1990s brings back to the stage the name of Lorrain Esme Osman, the central figure in what 25 years ago was the world’s biggest banking scandal, the collapse of Bank Bumiputra Malaysia.
Lorrain now is the subject of an inquiry into a rezoning scheme worth £7.75 million over one of Ireland’s most storied pieces of property, the site of the Battle of the Boyne, fought between Protestants and Catholics in 1690 in a vain attempt, backed by the French, to restore the Catholic King James to the throne.
Ahern has been battling allegations for months that he secretly received massive amounts of cash from businessmen in the mid 1990s. He resigned suddenly after an Irish Times report that said a tribunal looking into his affairs was going over accounts controlled by himself, his daughters, a former girlfriend and his local political party office from 1988 through 1997. The accounts were said to total as much as 452,000 Irish pounds (US$897,845 in today’s dollars). He has denied the allegations.

WoW, PKR cybertroopers….
You guys and UMNO…I dunno. Looks like your idola still causes the MOST emotional responses!
I pray that God will save us from the bane that is called Anwar Ibrahim.
Ali Rustam BLOGS too!
HA ha ha ha ha ha ha. What a morning! Ha ha ha ha ha. He is sarcastic too. Ha ha ha ha ha ha.
He sounds worried:
Saya khuatir ketika kita sibuk berbincang soal kemelut dalaman parti, rakyat akan jemu dan kecewa dengan kita dan akhirnya kita kehilangan kuasa. Jika ini berlaku, semuanya tidak akan bermakna lagi!

Hanif happy ordeal finally over

PUTRAJAYA: A relieved Hanif Basree Abdul Rahman said the Federal Court’s decision yesterday will set his life in order.
“I thank Allah that this is finally over. I have always believed that justice will triumph under whatever circumstances,” he told reporters moments after the apex court unanimously cleared him of the alleged murder of sales executive Noritta Samsuddin four years ago.
The new state government scrutinised
The dust has settled. The non-BN state excos sworn in. Some lingering discontent in Terengganu.
The rakyat has voted. And now they are waiting. Like me, they are scrutinising the non-BN elected representatives who are now in public office. Will they be more of the same?
Quote Of The Day
Konklusi aku mudah..PKR banyak duit..tapi takda supporter…PAS hanya ada supporter tapi kureng duit..makanya saling tunggang la. — Hajiman in mykmu.net forum
Nordin Kardi’s and UUM’s reputations worth RM4mil
That’s not much. But it’s what the court has awarded the vice-chancellor of Universiti Utara Malaysia and the university — RM2mil each. That’s how much Raja Petra of super-popular political website Malaysia Today has to pay.
An excerpt from MT:
The court’s decision, however, is not based on what I am worth. It is based on what Nordin Kardi and UUM are worth, or rather what their reputations are worth. I was alleged to have smeared Nordin’s reputation as well as that of all Malaysian universities plus the intellectuals who are heading them. In a way, Nordin filed a sort of ‘class action suit’ against me to defend not only his reputation, and not only UUM’s reputation, but that of all Malaysian universities and all Malaysian intellectuals who are heading these universities. And the court has valued these combined reputations as a mere RM4 million.
Susan Loone says: Show them your middle finger!
Hmmm, sounds like PKR dragged poor RPK into this. Anyway, another day in journalism.
That’s all they know — to sue. Well, lesson learned: always have proof if writing controversial factual claims.
Hope all is well, RPK. Much still needs to be done to expose the truth about Malaysia.
I just realised why UMNO ALL (NO) BLOGS attacked me
Is it because I am a PAS sympathiser and think the party is a million times better than UMNO? Are you afraid the TRUTH about KELANTAN will come out?
If so, SCREW YOU! I will dedicate FOUR YEARS TO COVER KELANTAN!
Tengku Razaleigh, PM at last?
Tengku Razaleigh, or fondly known as Ku Li by Malaysians, still yearns to taste the power of being prime minister. Born in 1937, the former finance minister is now 71. But he has declared that he is still keen to fight for bangsa, agama dan negara (race, religion and country).
In one word, Ku Li is kolot-lah. Did you read his letter to prime minister Abdullah Badawi? He bemoaned that Penang has fallen to the “Chinese-based DAP”, Perak to “DAP despite that the mentri besar is from PAS” and Selangor which will be “dominated by non-Malay DAP and non-Malays from PKR despite that the mentri besar is a Malay”.
WOW! It doesn’t get any more racist than this I hope. OH NO! TANAH MELAYU telah jatuh dalam tangan kaum pendatang (Tanah Melayu has fallen into the hands of the immigrants)!
I’m surprised he didn’t add the favourite, “The Malays will always have political power.”
But in his two-page letter calling for an emergency meeting to discuss the party’s devastating performance, he warned that “Umno will not be able to represent the voice of Malays again”.
Well, in this case, I would prefer Abdullah as at least he said in the UMNO General Assembly in 2006 that UMNO was “for all”, suggesting that as the biggest party in Barisan Nasional, it had a duty to look after the interests of other “races”. This has yet to translate into policy except for the scrapping of bumiputera privileges in the Iskandar Development Region in Johor and opening up small loans to non-bumiputera small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
REFRESHER ON TENGKU RAZALEIGH and the RM2.5BIL BUMIPUTRA MALAYSIA FINANCE SCANDAL
Not directly related to him but one of Ku Li’s cronies, Lorrain Osman, who was a former BMF chairman. Notoriously known as the Carrian scandal in the early 1980s, the case involved murders, extraditions and glamorous personalities from London to Hong Kong. In the end, the alleged mastermind George Tan of the Carrian group was not convicted. Meanwhile, Lorrain is living in the very posh St. John’s Wood in London and was investigated in 2001 for some shady deals involving the Irish Taoiseach (Prime Minister) Bertie Ahern.
SO TAINTED-LAH. Can we have some FRESH FACES please? At least Anwar is not associated with financial controversies like Ku Li, Mahathir and Daim are.
The New Cabinet
Best expressed by another funky poster by Mob’s Crib:
Mike Tyson a.k.a. Muhd Taib, who is also UMNO information chief, shot to global notoriety when he was caught with two suitcases stuffed with RM2.4million of cash in Australia. Then he pleaded that his poor English-language proficiency caused his ignorance of the country’s laws. Hence he was not convicted!!! More recently, when he lodged a police report against Malaysia Today last year, he had to get a reporter’s help to gather evidence from the Internet as our NEW Rural and Regional Development Minister didn’t know how!

DAP, let’s remember who Wong Chun Wai is
He is the head honcho behind MCA’s and BN’s election media campaign out to “destroy” the Opposition, especially DAP.
He is also the guy whose paper didn’t print photos of the massive crowds at DAP ceramahs but instead those of some crowd in a BN rally in which Pak Lah attended.
His paper also published endless character assassinations on Anwar Ibrahim.
And that photo of Lim Kit Siang with a PAS flag towards polling date.
Why didn’t he interview Kit Siang, Guan Eng, Anwar, etc before the election?
Let’s not pretend Wong is some impartial, professional journalist. He didn’t even have the balls to ask his own questions in his interview with Guan Eng. You think readers can’t email Guan Eng these days to ask him such matters?
A mainstream media editor in denial
An editor from a local English-language tabloid specialising in classifieds and advertisements wrote today that the “denial syndrome has to stop” in the MSM.
I wonder if Perak DAP is pissed off with LKS
First, the Fong Po Kuan incident.
Now, this seemingly unilateral decree by Dictator Lim Kit Siang to Perak DAP. Ngeh Koo Ham, who is state DAP chairperson and Sitiawan state legislator, has signed the submission of the three candidates to the Palace. So, I suspect Perak is also pissed off with Lim Kit Siang.
Also read on Husam Musa’s blog that DAP and PAS have worked things out and DAP (probably state) has accepted the PAS MB.
Since PKR, PAS, DAP can’t get it together
Why not just let UMNO, who has a clear majority as a party, form the Perak state government?
OOOga OOOga OOOga.
Sorry-lah brothers. IF you can’t keep the peace and act like you are in government, which includes working with the Istana and catering to Muslims via PAS, then too bad-lah.
Now, PKR also berdrama-drama. Please-lah. Already two weeks of all this drama. Just form government and fulfill your election pledges, if you can’t then let UMNO rule again. Then crybaby Tajol Rosli can continuing staying at the Mentri Besar’s official residence-lor. Stop crying-lah Tajol, maybe you become MB again!
A Mentri Besar from PKR. No way-lah. Please-lah. I understand there isn’t a suitable candidate and Nizar from PAS is most qualified. So all you champions of meritocracy, why cannot accept this?
