Who is the REAL Khir Toyo?
I am really quite shocked by Khir, the blogger.
From the MSM, he sounds like such a complete moron. Esp that broom awards issue. I thought it was a good idea to wake the civil servants up in a harsh manner. I mean what’s the big deal? The award winners have to accept that they need to buck up. Sigh.
But these are early days. Have not observed him over time like I have for Anwar Ibrahim. So I can’t really comment on Khir.
So far, he has said the right things on his blog. And unlike Mr Anwar Ibrahim, the GREAT reformist, Khir has set up a shadow exco already. He is quite on top of things, it seems.
Well, from the two times that I’ve seen him in real life, he walked really fast. Very go-getter feel.
But someone called him “tempe man”. Hmmmm. Not so favourable reports from some who’ve seen him up close over a period of time.
I think now, he erm, kinda needs some party post. Dun think he’ll get to keep his Supreme Council seat. He has said he is not defending it.
Well, at least he is doing something about it.
It wins people over when they now act like they listen. Better late than never.
Oh yea, I think he also said something about Selangor being a zero opposition state. But PKR made a lot of populist promises.
I am not convinced that the party can live up it. Already it can’t even resolve the declaration of assets issue. It’s just that, you know, PKR always harps on UMNO’s corruption and complains the leaders are so rich. So now, it’s time to show us your worth. Anything to hide, Khalid?
Remember, we have punished BN. I dun think many planned to vote Pakatan Rakyat into government. Anyway, the change is good for the country.
Still can’t believe Ronnie is in the state exco….Gee….

None of ‘em, MahalDeal, KuLi or Bad awi will emerge unscathed in terms of public perception. Their skeletons are pouring forth from their bulging cupboard via CyberSpace.
Though not a good start with its half hearted asset declaration let’s see what PKR can do
I hope my friend Eli Wong is reading this
KT: “I hope my friend Eli Wong is reading this”
I’m having similar thoughts but I’m sure Eli is good material.
Never liked the Toyol. He is no different from the rest of the top clique in UMNO.
He hasn`t declared his assets has he? How much did he make as MB? Sigh many questions unanswered.
But the longer pakatan takes to expose his nonsense, the better it`ll be as he makes himself more high profiled. Then his fall can be more resounding.
When Mahathir was young, he once sold bananas. When Toyol was young, he once washed cars. Are they supposed to have acquired the common touch and feel for the common man afterwards merely on account of such a brief passing phase?
Mahathir was selling these fried bananas to the Japs and he said they never harmed him and very nice.
Makes me believe he was a Jap collaborator during WW2 which accounts for his later `Look East` policy which primarily favored Japs.
you people who have never lived during the british, siamese and japanese occupation should just shut up.
Haha maybe you have jebat - that`s where you learnt `shut up`.
On a separate note hopefully bak kut teh gets cheaper now:

“..Look East` policy which primarily favored Japs.”
Surely there was mutual back scratching involved. Not as if there may be any documentaion kept for posterity.
I never met Khir Toyol before, but I certainly had dealings with the political side of the Selangor state administration during his time. Definitely corrupt and racist.
Zakaria Deros was just the tip of the iceberg. 90% of it was unseen.
Anyway Khir Toyol is history…the horse has bolted.
PKR and DAP will have a tough time in Selangor, so will DAP in Penang.
They are small parties, without a deep pool of talent. Lots of well meaning, idealistic people, but lack of experience with government.
And BN will be looking for every opportunity to trip them up.
The State Exco is just the starting point
They quickly need to move to appoint strong people for the many positions in the State administration which are the prerogative of the party in power - but they need to move out of the BN political paradigm and look for professionals to fill those jobs.
It seems PKR and DAP are openly asking for people outside politics to join the administration - a good start.
I will not hesistate to fire at PKR/DAP when they make a bad move, but I’m a “friendly critic”.
I really rooting for them to succeed.
Jebat may be hard put to find any one who lived through the Siamese occupation still around.
So, history is only what one has personally experienced? Any one else’s account is therefore untrue?
As usual you have found an iota of good to write about the Toyol (instead of the usual compliments re Mahakutee) but nothing positive about PKR or anwah.
you can worship him all you like, we still think he is nothing but a piece of sh*t… so, we voted & today we got the goverment we yearn for.
When Khir Toyol formed his Shadow Exco he “forgot” to include other BN component parties. They comprise 100% UMNO Machais. Maybe he was just being frank honest about where the real power lay..
As a result MCA Selangor has announced its own Shadow Exco for issues which affect the Chinese community…whatever THAT means.
The disintegration of Barisan Nasional has begun…
I think he is pissed off with MCAs performance. UMNO has 18 state seats. So….
Federal Govt is setting up parallel govts in states it does not win, by establishing JKKK funded by Federal money. This was how they won back Terengganu during the 1999-2004 period. Federal (our tax) money will flow into Pakatan’s states without accounting. They fail in Kelantan because Nik Azizi’ x-factor is too strong.
Pakatan Aneka Ragam must act fast. Considering the questionable tactics of the Fed, securing the Federal Govt thru crossovers may not be such a bad idea after all. Or do you still want to follow by the book when the other party has clearly flouted the rule of engagement?
by the way jed… mind to tell us why Ronnie should not in the cabinet? im not tat familiar wif him and would like to hear ur version of the story.
u believe what that Toyol writes ? Politician man.. they are chamellion, parasite n they will do anything to gain back power !
“Mahathir was selling these fried bananas to the Japs and he said they never harmed him and very nice.”:
Well that’s to be expected from one so self-centered and subjective. He could easily have spun it to mean that the Japs were better colonialists than the British in the nearly five years of their occupation or that the atrocities by the Imperial Japanese Army never happened - had there been a need for that.
you guys totally missing my point. our grandfathers lived thru hell during those times and it’s really rude to make fun of the sufferings they endured. basically, we must not take lightly what happenned during those days as we ourselves didn’t live thru it. From the stories i heard from my grandparents and ppl from that generation, i am compelled to respect their perseverance and patience in living thru those trying times. who are we to pass judgement on what really transpired more than half a century ago? and fyi, during the japanese occupation of malaya, the japanese gave kedah and perlis back to Siam to govern.
Man… I got to tell u all, I hated this guy to the max now, not only he is arrogant but he is also brainless. This is about the 100million pig farm issue that the new Selangor MB trying to implement and this Khinzir Toyol really is nothing but a sore loser that can’t seems to let other prove that they can do their work better than him.
Ok! PIG was a sensitive issue for all MUSLIMs, ok fine we the non-muslim knew that all along but it was also 1 of our CHINESE main cuisine (can’t you just respect other people culture?).
Ok! Let get back to the point, I personally got a question to ask all this UMNO guys, had u ever visited an oversea pig farm before and see what new technology they implement to safe breeding PIGs? And if u does that before, did u ever ask how much is the cost to implement such technology feat?
2nd question, was a centralized + controlled environment system of PIG farming is easier to control, administered and protected is better than the current scattered system? Does the Selangor state government got any plans to export such product?
If they can answer all my question above well, then I had no arguments about their objections, but I doubted their INTELLECTUALs hehehe. They seen PIGs alot but they never had any idea on how the rural chinese breeding system is and all they know is that the smell of the waste is terrible. Waste suppose to be smelled awful, ain’t that wat is waste is? Idiots! and it was a source of pollution too if it was not treated well (doesn’t care whether it is from man made or animal made). And now u got the chance to move all to 1 site and treated as well as managed well, wont that be a BLESSing for all ur smelly issues.
1 site management also can meant a well managed administration on pig farming. Well take JE crisis is the best example, once a plague was detected, the 1 site control system is better to contain or a scattered system is better to contain? Another simple logic, yet this Idiot can’t seems to understand. Bear in mind, once a plague becomes an outbreak, it doesn’t discriminate what religion nor culture nor race u r, it only identifies it’s host only, idiot, lagi kononnya claim got study biology in school.
Lastly, yes MUSLIM are PIG phobic, fine, we cannot export the pork as it was banned in our country (we are ISLAMIC country mah as NAJIS claimed). But does the Selangor state MB got any plans on doing so then? Another point added to counter all this IDIOTs, not just only their objections hindered the states economy in the future but they careless bout their environment future as well as their health cause they are too confined in the PIG phobic mentality (we doesn’t blame MUSLIM for that type of mentality but what we hated is that BN especially Khinzir Toyol is using it as a agenda to counter PR in Selangor state, where it was basically BN idea in the 1st place). Oh 100 million is a big sum (covers new land-sites, relocation of existing farms, german technology, training for staff, staff hiring, all this matter added up do u personally think 100 million is a lot sum to cover all the cost?), yes personally I do admit it was but I do hope it was a 1 shot payment and unlike PKFZ scandal that the cost can ballooned every year. See the difference yet my dear Malay frenz?
Khir Toyo jauh lebih baik dari majoriti pemimpin UMNO lain, lihat kenaikan beliau !!!!!!!
Hi, ironic_law
I like the way you give your analysis…
Thanx for your respecting & simple understanding of we = muslim towards pig issues.
Since you are so ‘open’, please i suggest you and other my non-muslim frenz to gain more knowledge about ‘PIG & MUSLIM’.
