Something positive about PKR and Anwar

Posted in anwar ibrahim, pkr, politics by jedyoong on April 8th, 2008

A commenter ,Simple Sam, lamented: “As usual you have found an iota of good to write about the Toyol (instead of the usual compliments re Mahakutee) but nothing positive about PKR or Anwar.”

So, I shall humour you and list two positive things about each.

PKR

1. Its sky blue flag is probably the best looking of all.

2. Khalid Ibrahim’s ex-aide, who is now with Nurul, I believe, is quite good looking.

Anwar

1. His house is very nice and located at a very cooling hill.

2. His daughter, Nurul, is promising.

Khir Toyo- So far, he has said the right things on his blog. And unlike Mr Anwar Ibrahim, the GREAT reformist, Khir has set up a shadow exco already. He is quite on top of things, it seems.

    Dear spirit61,

I hope you are not naive. How does Anwar set up a shadow cabinet when is not in Parliament to led the shadow gang? Secondly, it is the most suicidal act politically that one can do in a circumstance like this. You can’t afford to do that unless you have no plan or you are politically non-exsistent. Moreover, I’m sure PAS and DAP will not agree to that premature idea. So, direct your blame to somewhere else or be objective at least.

Anwar apparently has not continued his earlier days’ demagoguery, such as at the TPCA stadium in ‘87.

He did not write the equivalent of, “The Malay Dilemma” and then refuse to retract anything from it even after decades later like Madey. He has also trimmed his goatee, some, it seems. ;)
