MCA stuck in ghetto politics

Posted in mca, politics, self-help, siu sei yan, stoopid by jedyoong on April 8th, 2008

OOooPpppPPPPPppPPPPS. Forgot about this Chinese-ed majority party — the MCA.

Ong Ka Chuan reportedly said that party members cannot co-operate with a non-BN government.

WOW, that’s gonna endear voters to the party. More will just say kolot. Are the Ong brothers bringing the party down?

Then there was that statement from Ka Chuan a few days back fudging the fact that many new village residents still don’t have land titles. Some of them have lived there, well, since they relocated them to combat the communist insurgency after Merdeka.

The ghetto political party doesn’t seem to be coping with the new reality. At least UMNO pandai berpolitik and leaders have made all sorts of grunts about “akar umbi”, “rakyat”, “reformasi”, “demokrasi”, etc. But MCA is acting like sore losers by directing party members not to serve as councilors in the PR state governments. Or maybe I can’t understand them ‘cos the news is reported in the Chinese press?

Anyway, MCA doesn’t really represent many people these days…..Soooo, we can ignore them.

I’m sure glad MCA was completely white-washed during the last elections in Penang.

Who needs them - a bunch of eunuchs, incapable of voicing the concerns of the very community they are supposed to represent! They don’t represent me anyway - not then, not now, nor in the future. I would rather place my hopes on people’s power - that real power that lies in our hands, hidden amongst us, the common people, the color-blind, the non-racists, the progressive. When we weild that power, together we can make a difference - and that was what we did on March 8!

Ka Chuan & co. - please remember that or the price you shall pay, is a painful and lonely road to oblivion!

The MCA, IOW, has been dangling the carrot to the new vallages since the Malayan Emergency. Tiime the descendents of the new villagers reach for their Ridsect, prompto. Ka Chuak!

MCA is looking more and more irrelevant these days.

Umm…don’t knock Chinese-ed OK ? The majority of Malaysian ethnic Chinese below, say, age 40 attended at least primary school SRJK(C)…and a large majority of Chinese parents support Chinese education, even “Bananas” like me.

I feel sad for MCA - with the Ong brothers, the party is in downward spiral like the Gerakan Party - at least Ah Koon in the latter had the decency to tender his resignation (which was not accepted).

Although I support Chinese education in Malaysia I really do think MCA should be shown the exit. It is an irrelevant party today. No use having reforms and the sorts if it is going to continue its communal stance.

Ong Ka Chuan is spreading his “FOUL-MOUTHING” disease again hehehe.. Just read from Malaysia Today that he is saying that DAP and PAS coalition is like “REARING A TIGER CUB WILL SOON BRING PROBLEM” in which he describe PAS dream of turning the country into a ISLAMIC state if they won the next election will deem DAP as their partner in crime for realizing PAS dream.

First of all, I will like to ask the MCA leader, if he really wanna consider himself as a champion of CHINESE why dun he do it in action 1st and starting from himself rather than spreading fears and doubts within the non-Malay community over PAS intentions (he deemed it “ulterior motives” le). And the best way for him to prove that is to challenge the IKIM and Syariah court over their intention to punish non-Malay for KHALWAT issue (hei! I thought that was only application for MUSLIMs only why had to extend to other races as well woh? So in the future do I need to go for circumcissions as well, was it mandatory then and who will pay for my medical fee then?). What u had to say about that my CHAMP, got ur BALL SQUEEZED or a foot stuck in ur mouth again?

It’s ironic u know, he wanna claim fame by dissing other people error and fault as an excuse to claim himself as the BETTER MAN but does nothing while the CHINESEs and INDIANs suffers from UMNO cruel treatment. And he still got the face and time to lament such words to the media, hasn’t he learnt his lesson well in the GE12, that the RAKYAT doesn’t vote based upon race anymore? Ohh my god this type of brainiac is among 1 of my MINISTERs.

SAVE MCA CAMPAIGN harh the stupidest campaign I had ever heard hahaha. The problem for MCA is not the RAKYAT dun wanna help MCA (believe me there is some hardcore MCA supporters around), it is that there is a factions amongst ur MCA members as well, so how u wan the RAKYAT to help u when u can’t even sort youself out in the 1st place. IDIOTS…….

I think the biggest problem is not with MCA or MIC or any components of Barisan. But its with UMNO at the federal level. Currently, the PM is in no mood for work, heavy politiking to protect his position in UMNO and as PM will dragged the prolonged party fued till end of the year should be enough to stall the federal government machinery from providing effective services. The second issue whether AAB is still around after Dec 2008 may not really matters. The 2 ringgit questions is how will the relationship between UMNO and the rest of the component parties be addressed. Will MCA and others be allowed to be equal partners or still be lapped dogs as in the past. These will determined the future direction of BN and the impact of support of non malays vis-a-vis the other component parties in BN.

UMNO is incapable of accepting any component BN parties as equal. This is self evident. And these lapdog component parties exist only for their elites’ sake and has no real relevancy as such to their own people. The long planted superstition about their role is now soundly dispelled.

52% Malaysians had accepted muli-racial politics instead of being conned by BN “Divide and Rule Politics”. Time to chuck BN and its component parties into HISTORY. Malaysians are much better off without the “BN BULLSHIT “politics. MCA ,MIC,UMNO has to close shop. They are no longer RELEVANT TODAY.

MCA still stuch in the ghetto politics!

It is most disturbing while most Malaysians are calling themselves first as Malaysians, there are still those in UMNO and PAS who prefer to call themselves first as Malays. The Perkatan Rakyat politicians must use their power judiciously. They must show the UMNO politicians that power is to be used as a tool for the better of the rakyat and not for accumulating personal wealth!

It is discomforting to note that Nik Aziz and Abdul Hadi Awang are alleged to be opened to discussion with UMNO on this issue. Anwar Ibrahim seems to be pretty confident of being able to contain the excesses of the people from DAP and PAS, he should now come out and confront this affront committed against the Malaysian Race!

It is detrimental for the Malaysian nation, that UMNO, the UMNO-controlled newspapers and the UMNO-affiliated NGOs are working in concert to create fears in the Malays. They are exploiting this to perpetuate their own power base. MCA, MIC, Gerakan and PPP, what are they doing. Aren’t they aware of this going on? What are they waiting for? Or do they want to continue to push for communal politics - can’t they see the irrelevance of this, anymore? Don’t they want to be equal partners in the PR, why do they still want to play ’second fiddles’ to a racist party!

MCA, MIC, why are they not using the papers in their stable and those NGOs affiliated to them to resist this unhealthy trend? There is not even a squeak from any of them. Don’t they want equality for all the races?

Even a vice president of UMNO (Muhyiddin Yassin) is alleged to come out to urge the Malays to reunited for Malay supremacy. What are the other BN component parties doing? Don’t they care for Malaysian Supremacy? They should come out and be counted! Tell, yes, they should tell the rakyat, supremacy of Malaysians is of utmost importance and they are prepared to stand together to make it a reality!
